Many of you write to us asking about making payments using a Credit Card rather than a PayPal account.

We use PayPal to handle all of our online transactions.

You can check out your order using the PayPal Guest Payment option, entering your card details when prompted.

The screengrab below shows the most recent version of the PayPal checkout screen.

You do not need a PayPal account to make a payment to us. If you are prompted to set up a PayPal account, doing so is entirely optional.

Special information for customers in Germany

We were surprised to learn recently that PayPal Guest Payments are not available for German customers. PayPal insists upon having a PayPal account even if you wish to pay with a debit or credit card.

As a result of this discovery, we have recently worked with a number of customers in Germany via the SEPA payment system, where transactions within Euro countries under £100 are free for both the sender and receiver.
